Facilitator Masterclass is a 6-week live training. In the 1:1 onboarding call we choose your use case and follow the curriculum week by week to practice each component of facilitation.

Week 3 builds on the tools and frameworks you’ve learned in the first two weeks. Now, it's time to put them together into a cohesive structure. You’ll learn a fundamental framework that you can use to design any session. Week 4
In Week 4, you’ll dive into the art of facilitating live, receiving real-time feedback from both trainers and peers. You’ll master key techniques—like how to open a session, transition between exercises, and close with impact. We’ll explore how to read and manage the energy in the room, ensuring participants stay engaged throughout. By practicing these techniques, you’ll develop the skills to guide discussions effectively and adapt to the group, no matter the conversation.

Dynamics: Managing Conflict & Polarization
Week 5
Week 5 prepares you for the challenges that can arise in any meeting. You’ll learn how to manage power dynamics and hierarchy, handle conflicts, and respond to attacks or disruptive behavior when they occur. Through real-life scenarios, we’ll work on strategies to stay calm under pressure, diffuse tension, and guide the group back on track. You’ll develop the tools to maintain a safe, productive environment, even when emotions run high or unexpected disturbances arise.

Decisions: Moving from Dialogue to Commitment
Week 6
In the final week, you’ll focus on one of the most powerful skills for any facilitator: creating consensus. You’ll explore different methods of decision-making, including the wisdom of the minority from Deep Democracy, learning how to guide groups toward clear, actionable decisions, even when opinions differ. Through practical exercises, you'll develop techniques to ensure every voice is heard and the group moves from discussion to decision-making. By the end of the week, you'll be equipped to help teams make decisions confidently.

Who is this facilitation training for?
This training is primarily designed for full-time professionals who lead group work within an organization, company, or non-profit. This could include roles such as team leaders, project managers, agile coaches, consultants, or any other position related to group or team collaboration.
How much prior experience do I need?
No previous facilitation experience is required to enroll in this facilitation training course. Throughout the course, you will learn fundamental facilitation skills and receive actionable tools and templates. If you are more experienced, this course offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your skill, connect with like-minded people and add new tools and techniques to your skillset. If you are unsure if the course is right for you, feel free to schedule a course demo with us.
What is the time commitment?
The time commitment for this course is around 2-3 hours per week over six weeks. The video lessons are very flexible, allowing you to fit them around your schedule. The only fixed part is the 2-hour weekly live sessions, hosted twice on Thursdays to accompany multiple timezones.
What if I am not able to attend a Live Session?
If you miss a Live Session it's not a big deal, since you can watch the recording on our community platform when you have time again. That way, you can always catch up. But Live Sessions are highly interactive, so the experience and learning opportunity is not that same when watching the recording.
What makes this training unique?
This is a cohort-based training, where a group of participants (cohort) from all around the world progress through the curriculum together. In comparison to other facilitation courses, this creates a more supportive learning environment where participants can also learn a lot from each other.
What tools are used in this course?
The course and the community are hosted on our central community platform, that is accessible through your Facilitator School account. The live sessions are hosted in Zoom, and during the course we will work a lot with Miro.
What type of facilitation certification will you get for this course?
Upon completing the program you will receive a personalized certificate that validates your skills and knowledge in effective facilitation. This facilitation certificate is perfect for building your resume, showcasing your expertise on LinkedIn and to help you advance your career.
