Facilitation around the Globe
No matter where you call home, be it in Malawi, Namibia, Azerbaijan or elsewhere on the globe, the importance of access to facilitation cannot be overstated. Traditional training options, with their steep fees and limited scholarship opportunities, may not always provide that access. The Facilitator School is committed to breaking down those barriers with our inclusive scholarship program, open to all individuals eager to use their skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in their communities and workplaces.
1. Navigating the Complex: Today's challenges are often multi-faceted and require a holistic approach. Facilitation is a powerful tool for bringing together diverse perspectives and guiding complex discussions and decision-making processes. It leads to improved communication, collaboration and ultimately more effective problem-solving within organizations and communities.
2. Inclusivity at its Core: With diverse perspectives and backgrounds becoming the norm, facilitation ensures everyone's voice is heard in a participatory and inclusive environment, whether it be in conflict resolution or policy-making.
3. Bridging Divides: Facilitation is the key to fostering constructive dialogue and collaboration, even in the face of growing polarization. It helps bridge divides, fostering understanding and cooperation.
We will explore how to reach people that have their walls up, how to foster openness and guide productive discussions, even in challenging situations.
